Virginia Beach Police is attempting to identify this suspect who is wanted for questioning regarding several larcenies that occurred at ABC stores in Virginia Beach.

ARMED ROBBERY
On Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 4:30 pm, at The Insurance Doctor, 5600 block of Virginia Beach Blvd a masked male entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money from the registers. He then fled on foot northbound on Newtwon Road.
He is described as a black male, 5' 9" heavy set, 250lbs, wearing dark colored clothing and a knit ski mask.

SUSPECT SOUGHT IN ROBBERY OF BP GAS STATION
On Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at approximately 1:20 a.m., Emergency Communications received a call for a robbery at the BP gas store located in the 3000 block of Holland Rd., near the intersection of Dam Neck Rd., in the City of Virginia Beach.
Police responded to the scene and spoke with the two clerks. One clerk stated that the suspect approached the counter, displayed a knife, and ordered him to open the cash drawer. The second clerk came from the back room and startled the suspect. The suspect struck the clerk and fled the store on foot without obtaining any money. The clerk was treated at the scene for minor injuries to the face.
The suspect is described as black male, eighteen to twenty-five years old, 5’09” to 6’00” tall and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, dark pants, black gloves, a mask covering the lower portion of his face, and a Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap. He was armed with a knife.


COMMERCIAL ARMED ROBBERY
On Monday, August 10th, 2009 at 9:30 pm, two armed suspects entered the Taco Bell restaurant located in the 5100 block of Shore Drive. Both men made their way into the kitchen area, where they confronted the store manager and demanded money. The manager complied with their demands and both suspects fled out of the business through the back door.
One suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s or 30’s. He is about 6’01” tall, weighs about 200 pounds, and has a dark complexion. He wore a white bandana and a black hooded sweatshirt over a white t-shirt. He was armed with a handgun.
The other suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s or 30’s. He is about 6’04” tall, weighs about 200 pounds, and has a dark complexion. He also wore a white bandana and a black hooded sweatshirt over a white t-shirt and was armed with a handgun.

SUSPECT SOUGHT IN 7-11 ROBBERY
On Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at approximately 1:25 a.m., Emergency Communications received a call for a robbery at the Seven Eleven convenience store located in the 300 block of Virginia Beach Blvd., in the City of Virginia Beach.
Police responded to the scene and spoke with the assistant manager. She stated that the suspect approached the counter and asked for a pack of cigarettes. She retrieved the cigarettes and when she turned back around, the suspect displayed a knife and ordered her to open the cash drawer. The victim ran to the back of the store and along with the store clerk, ran into a back room and locked the door. The suspect tried to open the cash register but was unable to get it to open. He fled the store with the pack of cigarettes.
The suspect is described as black male, twenty-five to thirty years old, 5’05” to 5’06” tall. He was last seen wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, blue jeans, and white sneakers. He had a thin mustache. He was armed with a knife.
 

STRONG ARMED ROBBERY
On Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at approximately 9:10 p.m., the victim was walking to the Farm Fresh, 4001 Virginia Beach Blvd, when he was approached by two black males. Suspect #1 told him to stop and give up his stuff. He did not respond and suspect #1 hit him and pushed him to the ground. Suspect #2 punched him when he tried to get up and suspect #1 pulled his backpack off of his shoulder. The suspects ran across Virginia Beach Blvd and continued toward Bally’s Fitness.
Suspect #1 – B/M, 16 to 19 years old, 5’11” to 6’1” tall, 150 to 160 pounds, and buzz cut hair.
He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black t-shoes.
Suspect#2 – B/M, 17 to 19 years old, 5’10” to 5’11” tall, 140 t0 150 pounds, and buzz cut hair. He was wearing a dark red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
 

INORMATION NEEDED
Between 06/09/09, 3 pm and 06/10/09, 6:45 am, in the 2500 block of Horse Pasture Rd., the victim left his locked trailer at this site. When he returned the side door lock had been broken and pried open from the top down. Over $7,000 dollars worth of various tool were taken.
The suspect truck appears to be a mid-to-late 80’s Dodge Ram pickup with an 8’ bed. There is damage to the right rear bed panel just above the tire and the side molding is missing from the passenger side, from the front of the door to the front of the wheel well. This truck also appears to have cab lights on the roof just above the top edge of the windshield.


ROBBERY / MALICIOUS ASSAULT
On Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 10:15 pm, a juvenile was riding his bicycle in the 1000 block of Banyan Drive. He attempted to ride around a group of unknown black males, when one male stood in his path and he was forced to stop. Another male pushed the victim to the ground, where the group of suspects proceeded to repeatedly punch, kick, and rob him of currency.
A nearby citizen heard the commotion, witnessed the assault, and attempted to render assistance to the victim. As he approached, several additional suspects appeared. The citizen attempted to retreat, when one of the suspects struck him in the head with a brick.
The juvenile victim sustained a head injury, which required medical treatment and several stitches. The second victim sustained a severe skull fracture, which required surgery.

LARCENY - 711 3564 HOLLAND ROAD
On 5/25/2009 at 1030 pm, two black males entered the store, stealing cans of energy drinks. The male dressed in the red shirt shoved the store clerk in order to escape.


LARCENY - 711 3564 HOLLAND ROAD
On 5/26/2009 at 9 pm two black males entered the store, the black male wearing the blue short shirt stood by as a lookout while the black male wearing the white t-shirt left the store with two cases of Heineken beer.
 

LARCENY - 3644 VIRGINIA BEACH BLVD
On 6/20/2009 at 1419 hours the b/m suspect took the tip jar from Wing King located at 3644 Virginia Beach Blvd.


LARCENY - 869 LYNNHAVEN PKWY
On 4/14/2009 this subject entered the ABC Store, located at 869 Lynnhaven Pkwy, and stole a bottle of Seagram's Distilled Reserve Gin.
 

FRAUD - TOYS R US, 2701 NORTH MALL DRIVE
Between March 28, 2009 and June 1, 2009, this unknown black male stole checking account numbers belonging a couple from Yorktown VA. These account numbers were then used to make counterfeit checks that were used to purchase items in different cities in the Hampton Roads area. The total is adding up into the thousands of dollars.
The suspect is described as a black male, 22 - 25 years of age, thin build, short hair, possibly bald.


BP STATION ROBBERY - 4900 PRINCESS ANNE ROAD
On 6/22/09 at 0115 am, the clerk on duty at the BP gas station convenience store noticed the black male enter the store displaying a handgun. He ordered her to the register and demanded all the money. After the victim gave the suspect the money he ordered the clerk to open the second register. The victim told him she couldn't’t open it as the second clerk emerged from the cooler area, the suspect pointed the gun at him and ran out of the store. K9 obtained a track to Kempsville Lake at Weller Blvd.
Suspect : Black male, 17 -19 years of age, 5’ 5”, 140 pounds, dark complexion; wearing a navy blue hoody, dark jeans and a black mask.

STOLEN AUTOS
The Virginia Beach Auto Theft Unit is currently investigating a series of auto thefts involving early model, four door, vehicles (1984 – 1997) with aftermarket, larger then factory, chrome rims. The vehicles have been stolen from the Diamond Springs, Shore Drive, and Lake Edward areas of Virginia Beach. Most recently one vehicle was stolen from Harper Square Apartments in Virginia Beach. Vehicles of the same vintage, equipped with similar 20 inch – 22 inch chrome rims have also been stolen from various locations in the City of Norfolk. The vehicles are stripped of the rims, and occasionally the radios, then left at various locations in the city of Norfolk. The VBPD A.T.U is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect or suspects, and the location or probable location of the missing rims and property. Information obtained during this investigation has led detectives to a black male, in the Diggs Park area of the City of Norfolk, selling a pair of stolen rims from a green van. Anyone with information about the identification of the black male, other possible suspects, or the location of any stolen property is urged to contact Crime Solvers or the Virginia Beach Auto Theft Unit at 757-385-4101.
