Cold Case Homicide

Sometime during the night of Friday, July 15, 1988, 83-year-old Anastasia N. Christie was murdered.

Christie, 83, was found by her son at 12:30 p.m. July 16, in her home in the 300 block of 25 1/2 Street, at the Oceanfront. She had been sexually assaulted and died as a result of being beaten. The person responsible for the slaying is believed to have entered the house through a window and attached Christie as she slept.
