POLICE SEEK BANK ROBBER
Virginia Beach Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in a bank robbery.
On Saturday, November 25, 2006, at 9:20 a.m., the suspect entered the BB&T bank located in the 1400 block of Kempsville Road. He looked around for a short period of time and was greeted by a teller. When the suspect approached the teller, he implied that he had a gun and demanded cash. The teller complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect quickly walked out of the bank and ran across the Kempsville Road toward the Golden Corral restaurant.
The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 22 years of age. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs between 190 to 210 pounds with a stocky build. He has a thin mustache and very round brown eyes with a significant amount of white showing. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a tan pullover sweatshirt with a brown hood. On the chest of the sweatshirt was brown lettering. He was also wearing blue jeans with a brown stripe down the outside seam of the pant legs. On the striping was white lettering. The suspect also had on white tennis shoes.
