Cold Case Homicide

A Virginia Beach man died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, as a result of a gunshot wound. He has been identified as Terry D. Ferguson, 22, of the 5900 block of Blackpool Lane, Virginia Beach. Mr. Ferguson died at 6:15 a.m. at a local hospital.

Mr. Ferguson the victim of a drive-by shooting that occurred on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at 8:42 p.m. Mr. Ferguson was standing in front of a residence in the 5800 block of E. Hastings Arch when he was shot. A dark vehicle with tinted windows drove past the residence. A black male in the vehicle fired several shots in Mr. Ferguson's direction, striking him once in the head.
