Cold Case Homicide

On Friday May 9, 2003, at 5:30 p.m. Officers responded to a shots fired call in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree, located at 649 Newtown Road.

Upon arrival, the officers observed the victim lying in the parking lot, unconscious, suffering from a single gun shot wound to the left shoulder.

The victim, later identified as 40 year old Andre Heckstall, was transferred to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
