Cold Case Homicide

On Tuesday, April 8, 1997 at approximately 6:00 p.m. Virginia Beach Police and paramedics responded to a report of a man with a gunshot wound at Military Highway Pawn located in the 700 block of South Military Highway.

The victim was discovered by co-workers in the pawn shop suffering from a serious gunshot wound. At this time it is undetermined what led to the shooting. Although it appears nothing was stolen from the pawn shop, investigators have not ruled out a robbery as a motive.
