Cold Case Homicide

Police are seeking information about the slaying of 32 year old Joseph "stinky" Mayhan.

On April 2, 1991 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Police responded to the southern end of Arctic Avenue for the report of a body lying nearby. When officers arrived they located the body of Mr. Mayhan, who died of an apparent gun shot wound to the chest. Mr. Mayhan was last seen alive in the 700 block of 16th Street earlier that evening.
