Virginia Beach Police is seeking information about the February 25, 1987 murder of 57 year old Velma Peregory.

At 8:45 a.m., Thursday, February 26, 1987, the body of Velma Peregory was found murdered in her apartment in the 3500 block of Francis Land Court in the Rose Hall complex of the city.

Police believe Peregory, who had been shot several times, was killed between 8 and 11 a.m. Wednesday morning. There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment and no motive has been established for the killing.
