TWO ARMED MEN ROB RALLY’S

Virginia Beach Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 8:18 a.m. at the Rally’s restaurant located in the 5100 block of Virginia Beach Blvd.

The preliminary information indicates that an employee of the restaurant was taking out the morning trash. On his second trip to the dumpster, he was confronted by two armed suspects. The suspects forced him back into the restaurant and made him and another employee lie down on the floor. The suspects then ordered the manager to open the safe and hand over the money. The suspects ran out of the rear door with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • A black male, 19-25 years of age, 5’11” tall, 170-190 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask with only the eyes cut out and dark pants. He was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

  • A black male, 5’6”-5’8”, slender build, wearing dark clothing and a ski mask, armed with a semi-automatic weapon.

 

No one was injured during the robbery.
