Cold Case Homicide

On Wednesday , May 15, 1986, at 6:30 a.m., the body of Roberta Walls was located in the athletic field at the intersection of Independence Boulevard and Honeygrove Road. She had obvious signs of an assault that resulted in her death. Investigators determined Ms. Walls was last seen the night before at the Bayside Library at approximately 9:00 pm.

Ms. Walls, 22 years old, frequented the Aragona area of Virginia Beach and the Ocean View area of Norfolk.
