Cold Case Homicide

On Wednesday, May 15, 1986, at 6:30 a.m., the body of Roberta Walls was located in the athletic field behind Old Donation Elementary School located in the 1000 block of Ferry Plantation Drive. She had obvious signs of trauma due to a violent assault. Investigators determined Ms. Walls was last seen at approximately 9:00 pm, the night before at the Bayside Public Library located across the street from where she was found.

Ms. Walls was a 22 year old white female who worked as an office worker, she had hazel eyes, shoulder length brown hair and stood 5' 3" tall weighing 134 ponds. She had tattoos on her arm and abdomen. Roberta frequented the Aragona area of Virginia Beach and the Ocean View area of Norfolk.
