Cold Case Homicide

On Tuesday, December 4, 1990, Joan Schoppaul, a white 17 year old female, was reported missing by her parents. She had last been seen at 10am and was to return home after visiting a friend. She was wearing a pink skirt, a tie dyed t-shirt with a red jacket and brown loafers. She wore prescription glasses.

On Wednesday, December 5, 1990, at 11:45 a.m., police were called to the Farm Fresh Supermarket at 4740 block of Baxter Road. Joan Schoppaul's body was found in a dumpster behind the store, wrapped in a blue sleeping bag.

Ms. Schoppaul attended Green Run High School and frequented the Green Run area. She was a petit white female, who had blue eyes and brown shoulder length hair, she was 5' 1" and weighed 120 pounds.
