Police Seek Identity of Armed Robbery Suspect
On Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at approximately 2:50 p.m., a black male walked into the Shell gas station located at
705 22nd Street walked behind the counter and placed, what is believed to be, a handgun to the back of the clerk. The suspect demanded the clerk to open the register. The clerk complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then forced the clerk to the back office. The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male; 6’; 215 lbs; mid 30’s; short hair; slight beard, possibly a few days growth; crooked front teeth; wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.
