Cold Case Homicide

On Sunday, February 9, 1992, at about 3:30 a.m., 22 year old former Norfolk State University student and Marine Corps reservist Jason Walker was murdered.

Mr. Walker left The Bridge Nightclub in the Newpointe Shopping Center on Newtown Road after a performance by rap artist Doo Doo Brown. As Walker was driving his red Chevrolet Beretta through the parking lot, a man on the sidewalk started firing a pistol. A bullet shattered Walker's car window, striking him in the head. Walker died a short time later.

The gunman was described as a black male, 5' 10" tall, and wearing a black leather jacket.
