SUSPECT SOUGHT FOR MURDER OF CAMPUS SECURITY OFFICER

On Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at 11:27 p.m., Virginia Beach Police, and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to a report of a body that was found on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College, in the 5800 block of Wesleyan Dr., Virginia Beach. Upon arrival, they found the body of a campus security officer near the Boyd Campus Dining Center. A member of EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Walter J. Zakrzewski, 57 of the 8300 block of Kanter Avenue in Norfolk.
